I was born outside of Wilmington, NC in the 1970s, but grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Interested all my life in art, I moved to Raleigh, NC to attend the College of Design at North Carolina State University.

While in school, I worked at Technician, NC State’s student-run newspaper in every position from cartooning to advertising to design to Editor-in-Chief.

I still contribute an editorial illustration every Friday during the normal school year.

I currently work for the Office of Public Affairs at NC State University as multimedia designer.
